MONEY MARKET.

The great event of the month, the Revolution in France, has
not had the effects which might have been expected, either on
the French or English funds. The French rentes rose
considerably after the President's coup d'état, though there has
subsequently been some re-action. in the English funds there has
been no fluctuations of importance. In Foreign Stocks, and
in Railway Shares, the prices have continued firm.
